Lydiard Park

Lydiard Tregoze, Swindon, Wiltshire SN5 3PA

Historic estate on the Western edge of Swindon, with a Palladian House, Church and walled garden. Café, tea-rooms  and children's play area.  There is wheelchair access to the House, Church and Visitor Centre. A drop off point and parking is available in the courtyard of Lydiard House for disabled visitors. This is reached via the Lydiard Park driveway off Hay Lane / Tregoze Way, signposted with brown signs to Lydiard Park and Church.

There are accessible toilets inside the Coach House, next to the Tea Rooms, located between Lydiard House and the Walled Garden, and at the Visitor Centre, next to the Forest Cafe by the children's play area. 

Tramper all-terrain mobility scooter available to hire.  If you would like to book the Lydiard Park tramper, please call to check availability on 01793 466664. The tramper can be booked for 2 hours at a time.

Lacock Abbey, Fox Talbot Museum and Village

There are 3 manual wheelchairs and 2 mobility scooters, available for loan from the Visitor Reception. It is recommended these are booked in advance to ensure availability.

Moored by the Wharf tearooms, Bradford on Avon BA15 1LE

Wheelchair accessible (please pre-book as spaces are limited)

For visitors with limited mobility there is a powered lift to board and leave the boat.

Stonehenge (an English Heritage Site)

Advance booking is admitted as entrance to Stonehenge is now managed through timed tickets.  English Heritage and National Trust members must book in advance, however entry is free.

The visitor shuttle carraiages are accessible to wheelchair users.

'Dragonfly' Canal Boat

Wiltshire & Berks Canal, Kingshill Road, Swindon SN1 4NQ

'Dragonfly' has a wheelchair lift to allow access from the landing stage onto the boat.  Trips run from Easter until the end of the Summer on Saturdays and Sundays @ 10.30am, 11.45am, 1.30pm and 2.45pm
