National Maritime Museum Cornwall believes in the importance of making Changing Places facilities available to visitors who require them and has committed to having a Mobiloo vehicle at the museum on the following dates. Mobiloo’s are mobile accessible toilets with an adult-sized changing bench and hoist.

Early morning fun and learning for families with children on the autistic spectrum and siblings, free from the hustle and bustle of the general public.
Visitors have access to a wide-ranging programme of activities, including a chance to see, meet and even touch live animals. All activities are supported by experienced, autism-aware facilitators.
A dedicated Sensory Room will also be available for those children needing a quieter and calmer space.
This event is best for children aged five to 15, and siblings are welcome.

The Wider Earth - relaxed performance. Go on a journey of discovery with a young Charles Darwin during a relaxed theatre performance of The Wider Earth.
More than 30 handmade puppets and dazzling animations are featured alongside a cast of seven.
Heavily reduced tickets are available to purchase by adding the code TWERELAX to your basket before adding tickets and checking out. Limited spaces; first come, first served.

Mobiloo makes an event or venue accessible to the quarter of a million disabled people who would otherwise be stuck at home simply because of a lack of adequate toilet and changing facilities.

For Dressage, Cross Country & Show Jumping a small uncovered ringside enclosure reserved for wheelchair users is situated at the front of the West Stand (Block D). Carer tickets can be arranged on the day when supporting documentation is provided.

Disabled drivers’ parking is available at the County Show – please follow the RAC signs showing Blue Badges. You can park right next to the show ground and be dropped off at the Red Entrance. The ground is undulating. We have three suitable lavatories on site.
If anyone is totally dependent on a carer to get around the showground (ie you are in a wheelchair and need help with mobilising) – we offer a free ticket to the show for one carer when they escort you.

EVENT MOBILITY WILL BE LOCATED IN THE DISABLED CARPARK (FURY CAR PARK - E).
However, we understand that some Air Day visitors, who require mobility assistance (wheelchair, scooter, crutches, etc), may be attending on their own or with an accompanying carer. To make your visit more comfortable the MAVE is a free of charge outdoor enclosure (no shelter) on hard-standing with good views of the flying display. Other facilities include:
• Access to the enclosure is free of charge and is restricted to those using mobility aids and ONE accompanying carer only, due to space restrictions.

There is a disabled camping area, but spaces are limited. To guarantee a camping space please pre-book on the disabled registration form. WOMAD prides itself on accessibility for all. Carers are admitted free to assist people with disabilities.
There are viewing platforms located in front of the main stages for wheelchair users and people with disabilities. You will need a viewing platform wristband to access. Capacity on the platforms is limited so only one carer can accompany each time.
The viewing platform wristband is for wheelchair users and those who have difficulty standing for long periods. These wristbands are available from the stewards at the disabled camping area.
