Cost: free
Early morning fun and learning for families with children on the autistic spectrum and  siblings, free from the hustle and bustle of the general public.
Visitors have access to a wide-ranging programme of activities, including a chance to see, meet and even touch live animals. All activities are supported by experienced, autism-aware facilitators.
A dedicated Sensory Room will also be available for those children needing a quieter and calmer space.
This event is best for children aged five to 15, and siblings are welcome.
How to book
Spaces are in high demand, and priority will be given to first-time attendees.

Electric scooters and wheelchairs are available to hire and should be collected from 'Event Mobility’ who operate the facility in the Fury Car Park. Due to high demand pre-booking is essential by calling them on 01386 725391 or visit www.eventmobility.org.uk.
EVENT MOBILITY WILL BE LOCATED IN THE DISABLED CARPARK (FURY CAR PARK - E).   
However, we understand that some Air Day visitors, who require mobility assistance (wheelchair, scooter, crutches, etc), may be attending on their own or with an accompanying carer.  To make your visit more comfortable the MAVE is a free of charge outdoor enclosure (no shelter) on hard-standing with good views of the flying display.  Other facilities include:
• Access to the enclosure is free of charge and is restricted to those using mobility aids and ONE accompanying carer only, due to space restrictions.
• Places in the enclosure are limited and must be pre-booked in advance using the form on the ‘Visitor Information’ page in the ‘Disabled Facilities’ section.  Please call 0330 100 3654 if you require further information.

WOMAD Festival

WOMAD’s UK home is in Charlton Park, Wiltshire, where every year, during the last weekend of July, you’ll discover a world without borders, a global fiesta of music, food, dance & art, and a place where everyone is welcome.

There is a disabled camping area, but spaces are limited. To guarantee a camping space please pre-book on the disabled registration form.  WOMAD prides itself on accessibility for all. Carers are admitted free to assist people with disabilities.  

There are viewing platforms located in front of the main stages for wheelchair users and people with disabilities. You will need a viewing platform wristband to access. Capacity on the platforms is limited so only one carer can accompany each time.

The viewing platform wristband is for wheelchair users and those who have difficulty standing for long periods. These wristbands are available from the stewards at the disabled camping area.

Carfest South

Location: Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire RG25 3DR

Designated areas have been allocated for disabled visitors to view the track and main stage. These will be clearly marked in the show guides or you can ask our festival staff for directions.  All disabled visitors entering CarFest on a paid for adult ticket are entitled to bring one personal assistant free of charge

The team from Event Mobility Charitable Trust provide electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to the show.  

To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair you can book online at www.eventmobility.org.uk or contact the office on 01386 725391 to request a form to be posted to you (please be aware that advance bookings cannot be made by phone). 

Scooters will be available to pick up next to the accessible car park. Please note, the number of electric scooters and manual wheelchairs are limited and must be booked in advance
