The Trust has two canal boats, Kingfisher and Richmond, and offers both scheduled and charter trips throughout the year. The boats ply the two mile section of the canal between the Basin and Donnington; a beautiful stretch with excellent views and prolific wildlife.  Both boats can accommodate disabled passengers.

Beach Wheelchair 

West Wittering beach is mostly fine sand and it is not accessible by normal wheelchair. To assist our less able visitors to enjoy the beach, West Wittering Estate and Chichester Harbour Conservancy purchased two Sandcruiser beach wheelchairs which may be borrowed from the estate office.  There is no charge for this, just a deposit of £20 which is fully refunded when the wheelchair is returned.

These wheelchairs are popular and it is advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment. To make a booking, please contact the estate office on 01243 514143 (Monday to Friday 9 am. to 4 pm.) or speak to a member of our Ground Crew.

Buchan Country Park

Pallant House Gallery

Pallant House Gallery consists of a newly built gallery and grade one listed Queen Anne town house. There is very good physical access to the new wing and the original Pallant House. There is a large lift providing access to the new gallery and also to Pallant House.
 There are two wheelchairs available at the Gallery which can be booked in advance. Entry for a person accompanying someone who requires additional support is free,
 Stools are available from Reception. Please ask a member of staff or at Reception. Benches can be found in a number of galleries.

Tangmere Military Aviation Museum

Big Band Night, Brighton City Airport, Shoreham, Sussex

Come and enjoy a night to remember at our Big Band Night! A 20-piece band will entertain and delight throughout the evening playing a wide variety of music from Classical to Jazz. Free entry (hat passed around during the interval).

Wey & Arun Canal, Loxwood, Billingshurst

Our electrically powered boat, Wiggonholt, is wider than a conventional narrowboat and can accommodate up to 50 passengers. It has an access lift for passengers with mobility difficulties. (Please note that mobility impaired passengers should make themselves known to the boat crew or ticket office at least 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time.)

The boats cruise along the idyllic Loxwood Link section of the canal on the Surrey/West Sussex border.

The Apuldram Centre
